Eye for an Eye (1981)

Chuck Norris doesn’t punch people in the face. People’s faces are magnetically drawn to the fists of Chuck Norris.

Chuck Norris stars in this movie about a guy who gets set up a long with his partner and sets out for revenge when his partner is killed. Along the way he teams up with an Asian martial arts instructor who is a pretty funny guy full of one liners. Norris also works for a police captain played by Shaft who was in a lot of early 1970s super fly movies.

Playing the villains are Christopher Lee who is in charge of the criminal group and he has this big guy working for him played by Prof. Tonaka. Possibly the best action scene in this movie, although there are many good ones in this movie, which checks all of the action movie boxes pretty well, is a fight between Norris and Tonaka at the end of the movie.

If you like 1980s action movies I think you will like this one a lot because it does everything a movie of this category should do and it does it all well, too. If you want to see a movie that was made during a far less cynical time than now do yourself a favor and check this one out.
