In this movie, Lugosi was a gorilla about town.
Lugosi is in this movie, which is pretty bottom level, yet still manages to be entertaining in a campy sort of way. He has turned himself into a half monkey creation. I’m not sure why he thought this was a good idea to begin with, but now he is unable to change himself back again. He sets out to collect spinal fluid to make himself straighten out and cure him of his monkey posturing but each time the effect of the potion he takes wears off. This leads to him and his pet gorilla going all over the place and killing people together. It’s an O.K. movie with some good action. However, other than that this is kind of a weak movie and a movie that seems like Lugosi probably didn’t enjoy making too much.
