We get another dark house movie with Sherlock Holmes this time doing our favorite old movie idea. The mystery is pretty good and the atmosphere as usual is definitely up to par. That being said certain other movies in the series stand out more. It’s not that this one is bad. It’s just been done so many other times that I kind of missed seeing Holmes in another country or fighting nazis. It still takes place during World War 2, though, with some soldiers recovering from the war at a house where Holmes does his detective work. If you want a good atmospheric movie, this would be pretty good. Other than that, there is not much to say.
