Duck and cover.
Alfred Hitchcock had this disposable thriller about a couple of people on a train who discover that an elderly woman has disappeared or should I say vanished. They spend most of the movie trying to find out what happened to the poor woman and discover a plot to cause two countries to go to war. This is an entertaining movie if you are in the right mind set for something that is pretty trite and doesn’t really offer much more than a good time. It’s one of those in between deals that is just good enough to succeed on its own merits while at the same time not being good enough to really be considered a classic. The pace of the movie, amiable actors playing the main characters and some pretty good action are all keys to this movie being a moderate success. In other words it was totally all right.
