Lugosi shows up for his second and final role as a vampire in a serious movie. Later movies with him as a vampire would only parody the character. This movie is basically Dracula 2.0, but they added a couple of things to make it a little more interesting. For one thing, similar to Sherlock Holmes it has been updated to the present day. For another thing, they added a werewolf character. The werewolf has the most interesting scenes in the movie since the movie pretty much is about whether he will keep his soul or not and it has an effect on the ending. Other than that this is all pretty routine stuff and it just makes me wish I was watching the original Dracula again instead.
